Terms, Returns & Privacy
By using the Retro Exchange website or purchasing from us, you agree to our Terms & Conditions.
Retro Exchange sells new and pre-owned games, consoles, accessories, electronics, media and collectables. Pre-owned items may show signs of previous use and are sold as described and pictured.
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, pricing and availability are accurate. However, genuine errors may occasionally occur. Where this happens, we may correct the information, contact you before fulfilment, or cancel and refund the affected order where necessary.
All purchases are subject to Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or materially different from its description, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.
Eligible consoles may also include our additional 60-day console warranty. This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law and does not replace or limit those rights.
Change-of-mind returns are generally not accepted unless approved by Retro Exchange. Where a discretionary return is accepted, the item may need to be returned in substantially the same condition, with supplied accessories and packaging where applicable.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather, peak periods or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
Where tracking is provided, customers should monitor tracking information and follow any instructions issued by the carrier.
If an item arrives damaged or appears to be lost in transit, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may request photographs of the item, packaging and shipping label to assist with the investigation.
Retro Exchange may collect and retain customer information where reasonably necessary to operate our business. This may include your name, address, email address, phone number, order history, delivery information, payment transaction information, correspondence, website activity and other information relevant to your transaction.
Customer information may be used for legitimate business purposes including processing orders, arranging delivery, providing customer support, handling returns and warranty claims, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
We do not sell customer personal information.
Where we reasonably suspect fraud, theft, payment misuse, unauthorised transactions, stolen property, identity misuse or other unlawful activity, relevant records may be retained and used to investigate the matter, protect our business or customers, recover property or losses, and take lawful action.
Where permitted or required by law, relevant information may be provided to police, courts, banks, payment providers, financial institutions, government agencies or other authorised bodies.
Customers must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, provide deliberately false information, interfere with website operation, commit payment fraud, submit knowingly false disputes or chargebacks, or use our services for unlawful purposes.
All original Retro Exchange website content, branding, graphics, photographs and written material remain the property of Retro Exchange unless otherwise stated. Third-party trademarks, product names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be made available on our website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
